Noted cybersecurity-turned-crytpcurrency expert John McAfee made an interesting bet on Bitcoin last year. As the world’s largest cryptocurrency climbed to dizzying new heights last year, McAfee didn’t see an end in sight. He claimed, via Twitter, that if the price of a single bitcoin didn’t reach $500,000 within three years, he’d “eat [his] dick on national television.” A bitcoin was worth just under $3,000 at the time.
