If you’re thinking about buying a new laptop in 2018, you might want to wait a couple more months, as Apple is expected to launch an affordable new MacBook Air soon. That’s from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who’s usually right about this sort of thing. 9to5Mac relayed Kuo’s prediction about a refreshed MacBook Air with “a lower price tag” that’s slated to arrive in the second quarter of this year, so as to help Apple boost its laptop shipments by 10-15 percent in 2018.
