The United States government is hiring … new leaders, that is. A comedic “Help Wanted” post appeared on job board Monster.com today looking for “Senior Leaders, U.S. Government.” But be warned, before you apply, you must meet a few requirements.
You’re going to need to have “effective” management and persuasion skills, be media-savvy, open to travel 50 percent of the time, and must be able to balance a checkbook. No past political experience is required.
The government has multiple positions available and you must be willing to commit to a two-, four-, or six-year employment period. And you must be a U.S. citizen.
If it need be said, this is not a legitimate posting, but rather in response to the Obama administration and U.S. Congressional leaders’ inability to come up with a solution to the country’s shutdown and debt crisis.
