- Three now lets its UK customers roam for free in the US
UK mobile network Three has dangled a fairly large carrot in front of prospective customers, after announcing that travelers will be able to use their call, text and mobile data allowance when traveling to the US.
Thus far, Three’s Feel at Home offering was effective in seven countries around the world, including Australia, Austria, Denmark, Italy and Hong Kong. It basically means that whatever plan you’re signed up to in the UK works exactly the same when you travel to one of the partner countries, and you don’t have to worry about roaming charges.
Now, the US, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Macau have been thrown into the mix, and covers mobile Internet, SMS and phone calls. It covers pay-monthly, pay-as-you-go, mobile broadband and business customers.
