Microsoft sold over 3 million Xbox One consoles across 13 launch markets in 2013, the company announced today. That’s up from the “over 2 million” that it breezed past on December 11, just 18 days after its release.
On December 3, Sony said it had sold 2.1 million units of its next-gen console. It hasn’t updated those figures since then, but we imagine the company is matching, if not succeeding Microsoft’s sales numbers.
