Switzerland-based online scheduling service Doodle has announced a handful of upcoming changes for 2014, the most notable one being a full acquisition by Swiss company Tamedia.

Tamedia already owns 49% of the company, so it’s perhaps not a massive step to go all-in here. But this will ultimately mean that both founders, Michael Näf and Paul E. Sevinç, will be stepping down in the “next couple of months”. Michael Brecht will take over as CEO from February 1.

Doodle offers a suite of online scheduling tools, though it pulled the plug on its Android app last year to focus on iOS and the mobile Web. The company claims 15 million users worldwide, and says the product will remain unaffected by these moves.
