Apple’s framework for your connected home has been expanded to enable users access to their homes smart devices remotely through iCloud. Announced today at WWDC, HomeKit is also expanding its range to include compatibility with sensors such as smoke alarms or carbon monoxide alarms, as well as other compatible connected devices. In recent weeks, the first devices started to hit stores and today, it was also announced that Philips Hue intelligent lighting system will start supporting HomeKit this fall.
