As of today, anyone in the US or UK can go to Skype.com (or web.skype.com) and connect to Skype for Web instead of downloading the app. This means that if you’re using a public computer that doesn’t have Skype installed, you will still be able to access your calls and IMs. Features of Skype for Web include syncing of your conversations from other devices, easy search and of course, video and audio calling as well as instant messaging. ➤ Skype for Web (Beta) is now available to everyone in the US and UK [Skype Blog]
