Apple Pay is finally available for iOS 9.1 users in Canada today, but there’s a catch – it only supports American Express at launch. Even if you have an AmEx card – it will need to be one that was issued directly from the credit card company as bank-issued cards aren’t supported. Apple Pay has been available in the US since October 2014 and in the UK since July, so Canada is now the third country with support for the contactless payment method.
