Remember Project Astoria, Microsoft’s plan to port Android apps onto Windows? It’s been delayed, and seems as though Microsoft may be killing it off altogether. Speaking to Re/Code, a Microsoft spokesperson said “the Astoria bridge is not ready yet, but other tools offer great options for developers,” adding “we’re committed to offering developers many options to bring their apps to the Windows Platform.” Microsoft is putting Astoria on hold, but refused to say whether or not the project had been killed off.
