- Google Play Books starts a new chapter in 9 new countries

Google has launched its Play Books service, which lets users read and shop for ebooks, in nine more countries across the Middle East. The company didn’t make an official announcement, but Android Police reports that Play Books now features both Arabic and international content in English for users in the following countries: Bahrain Egypt Jordan Kuwait Lebanon Oman Qatar Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates The company added a bunch of useful features to Play Books apps last year, including improved recommendations on Android, a comic reading interface, a more legible typeface and a night reading mode that cuts harsh blue…
