Google search on your iPhone is worth $1 billion — to Apple. According to court records, Google paid Apple a cool billion in 2014 to keep its search engine available for iOS. Additionally, Apple reportedly saw a 34 percent cut of the revenue Google generates via iOS devices “at one point”. This information comes out of the same Oracle-Google lawsuit that notes Google has made over $36 billion from Android since acquiring it.
