The Malaysian Communications and Mutimedia Commission (MCMC) has blocked Medium after the blogging platform refused to remove a post it claimed to contain false reporting on the country’s prime minister. The post in question was published by Sarawak Report, a site run by British journalist Clare Rewcastle Brown, and refers to the alleged corruption of Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak. Razak was facing more than thirty charges relating to a transfer of $681 million into his personal bank account.
