Spotify has announced a partnership with music info and lyrics app Genius that will let Spotify users get more info about the music they are listening to with the press of a button. For the Spotify integration, Genius says it had to strip back its service to the core essentials, and in doing so, created a new feature it’s calling ‘Fact Tracks.’ In essence, these are short pieces of info relevant to the track that are displayed in time with the music.
