Large companies using GitHub now have more support for large-scale operations. For those with at least 10,000 developers, GitHub Enterprise 2.5 has clustering for large installations with multiple instances to allow growing companies to add more users in one spot. IT also sports improved resilience for availability issues when there is heavy load on the CPU and RAM. Developers are also prohibited from deleting or force-pushing to protected branches.
