There’s a poetic beauty to the Sunlight Foundation’s Politwoops: as politicians try to scrub their Twitter accounts free of any mistakes, the service doggedly unearths them, and finds growing trends among the gaffes. It’s been awesome since its inception in 2012 by the Open State Foundation, and it was a real bummer when Twitter decided to pull the API from the program to keep it from finding deleted tweets.
