After news broke that legendary musician Prince has passed, many tech companies were quick to pay respect to the late artist. Today, Google’s tribute comes in the form of a Google Doodle – with a simple purple font and a rain animation. Snapchat also put this virtual purple rain idea to practice, with a new filter that launched just hours after Prince’s death was confirmed.
