Amazon is finally bringing Alexa to its tablets. The company today unveiled the new Fire HD 8, meant mainly for light media consumption. The specs are nothing to write home about, but a solid deal for $89 bucks: 8-inch HD Display (1280 x 800, 189 ppi) Quad-core 1.3 Ghz processor 1.5 GB RAM (50 percent more than previous tablet) 16 GB and 32 GB storage options 4,750 mAh battery (12 hours mixed use) Front and rear cameras Dolby Stereo speakers 2x more durable than an iPad mini (whatever that means) The big news here is Amazon is bringing Alexa compatibility.…
