Following the European Commission’s withdrawal of a proposal that would limit the number of days consumers can use their mobile phones abroad without paying additional charges, Andrus Ansip, Vice-President of the Digital Single Market in the European Commission, has today announced a revised approach. The latest draft aims to protect operators from customers abusing their “Roam like at Home” services by introducing a few safeguards.
