There’s no denying that QR codes are incredibly useful, but they’ve always been a bit too dull for my liking. The monochrome color palette feels too formal, and the lack of visible variation between different codes makes them appear extremely regimented. A couple of hours ago, I stumbled upon an open-source project that’s dedicated to bringing a new lease of life to QR codes by letting you embellish them with an image, color, and even animation.
