It’s that time of year again: Microsoft has new Surface devices to announce. The company today sent out invites for its next big event, taking place in New York on October 2. An image of a Windows logo being etched onto metal makes it pretty clear the company is planning to announce new Surface hardware – perhaps even that mythical dual-screen Surface. The timing makes sense, anyway. The Surface Book 2 is now nearly 2 years old, so its due for an update, especially considering some of the notable improvements that have been made with Intel and Nvidia‘s latest-generation chips.…
