It’s pretty much a done deal that in the future we’ll all be driving electric vehicles. Which means, no more going to petrol stations to fill up because we will hopefully be able to plug into the national grid pretty much anywhere. And that’s creating new opportunities for car makers. Speaking yesterday, Volkswagen‘s chief strategist, Michael Jost, said that electric car batteries could be used to provide stability and security to energy grids, Reuters reports.
