- This Is What Instagram Ads Look Like
Instagram has just given users a sneak peek at forthcoming advertisements that will be placed within the Instagram photo/video feed.
On the company's blog, you can see a sample ad that is from Instagram itself, showing a regular image along with a “Sponsored” tag in the top right hand corner, where you'd normally see a timestamp.
Users can tap the sponsored label to learn more about how advertising works on Instagram. Moreover, users can tap the “…” at the bottom of the image to request that any particular ad not be shown again in the feed, or provide feedback on the advertisement.
As Instagram has said before, the company is “starting with a handful of brands” that have been actively and creatively using the Instagram platform already.
