Wikimedia’s newest board member, Arnon Geshuri, has been forced to step down after nearly 300 of the site’s editors signed a “vote of no confidence” requesting that he be removed. The announcement was made today via an email from Wikimedia’s current board Chair Patricio Lorente and Vice-chair Alice Wiegand. Geshuri, who currently heads up HR at Tesla Motors, and worked at Google from 2004 to 2009 and this is where the editors saw an issue.
