Your Amazon Echo will now read Kindle books to you. With an update, the Echo will start reading titles with a simple “Alexa, read [a book from the Kindle library],” which launches you straight into the book you asked for. You can also ask Alexa to “read my Kindle book,”“pause,” “go forward (or back)” and “resume my book.” You can’t yet ask Alexa to skip to a preferred chapter, and it will only read books from your library (or those lent to you).
