Last Sunday, Apple premiered a new commercial for its music streaming platform, Apple Music — and it kind of sucks. The ad follows The Late Late Show host James Corden as he pitches a handful of terrible ideas on how to promote the service to Apple executives Jimmy Iovine, Eddy Cue and Bozoma Saint John. Corden’s sketch — seen above — includes dressing up as various music icons, trying to give an iPhone 7 to a dehydrated child and diving into the ocean surrounded by 40 million apples.
